Go ExtremeSpring 2014
Are you ready to add thrilling, supersoakin’ excitement to your vacation? Beat the heat and cool down this spring by visiting these water parks!
Wet ‘n Wild has always featured more multiperson thrill rides than any other water park around. That includes their signature attractions that offer more screams, more intense heights, more heart-stopping, adrenaline rushing, lumpin-your throat excitement that will leave you breathless. Board a four-passenger tube ride down an enclosed flume toward a watery disco nightclub on the Disco H2O™. Lose your grip on reality, as you take a 53-foot vertical drop into a 65-foot domed funnel on the extreme tube ride the Brain Wash™. Or, guests can step out on their own solo rides like the Bomb Bay where the floor drops out from under you, plunging you into a nearly vertical free fall. Wet ‘n Wild is the perfect place to feel that adrenaline rush you’ve been looking for and experience more intense family connections than ever before.
Get ready to brave a watery free-fall at Aquatica Orlando’s all-new water thrill slide, Ihu’s Breakway Falls, coming in 2014. The drop slide will be the tallest, steepest and only multi-slide ride of its kind in Orlando. The slide is named after Ihu, Aquatica Orlando’s colorful gecko, who searches for the biggest thrills, steepest hills and the coolest spills in the water park.
Opening for the season in April, LEGOLAND® Florida’s Water Park provides just enough thrills for toddlers to tweens. The thrill seekers of the family can ascend to the tallest point of the water park, Splash Out, and choose from one of three unique slides, then speed down a 60-foot drop and “splash out” into the water below or jump on the Twin Chasers to ride tubes 375 feet down an intertwining pair of enclosed water slides before plunging into a refreshing pool below. But for the younger ones, there is still plenty of fun in store. Toddlers will rule in the DUPLO® Splash Safari with perfectly-sized slides and interactive, larger-than-life DUPLO creatures in a zero-depth wading pool. The entire family will enjoy floating down the 1,000 foot long Build-A-Raft Lazy River where they can imagine, design and create their own LEGO vessel.

Zip down the slushy slopes of Mount Gushmore on one of the world’s tallest and fastest waterslides. Float down the tranquil river and sunbathe on the white-sand beach. Children under 48 inches tall can even splash around in their own water play area with a snow-castle fountain and kid-sized waterslides.
Escape to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park for a storm of fun in the sun! Snorkel with sharks, stingrays and tropical fish in the coral reef. Plunge down rushing rapids, sunbathe on the sandy beach and glide down the lazy river on a relaxing raft ride. After an epic typhoon hurled surfboards into palm trees and tossed boats like toys, the storm-soaked Mount Mayday became a topsy-turvy oasis of waterfilled adventure!
