The recipe for Giordano’s now-famous double stuffed deep dish pizza is one that has evolved over several decades. Its creation began in a small northern Italian village of Torino. Mama Giordano was famous for her exquisite cooking of large dishes, most of all her “two crusted cheese stuffed pie”.

Many years later, Mama Giordano’s two sons, Efren and Joseph, moved to Chicago and featured their mother’s culinary fare in their new South Side restaurant.
