SeaWorld Orlando Makes A Splash

Spring 2005

Combining spectacular entertainment, animal interactions and thrilling rides is an excellent recipe for adventure -- and one that SeaWorld® Orlando has perfected.

Whether guests are swimming with sharks or getting splashed by Shamu, they can get closer than ever to the world’s most amazing animals.

“Sharks Deep Dive,” the park’s newest most daring animal interaction program where guests don a SeaWorld wetsuit and can either snorkel or scuba dive in a large shark cage for an unforgettable encounter with the Earth’s most misunderstood creatures.

Another up-close animal experience is “Marine Mammal Keeper Experience,” an eight-hour program where guests experience the thrill of working alongside marine mammal experts. From bottle-feeding orphaned manatees to interacting with seals and walruses, participants learn firsthand how SeaWorld animal care specialists work with SeaWorld animals.

SeaWorld creates extraordinary memories with an array of spectacular shows. At the world-famous “Shamu Adventure,” visitors witness the awesome power of Shamu the killer whale and the amazing feats performed by trainers and these amazing animals.

At the hilarious “Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island” show, guests are taken on a swashbuckling adventure as sea lion stars Clyde and Seamore, Sir Winston Walrus and O.P. Otter search for a lost treasure with help from the trainers.

For those who want a “VIP” feel to their day, they can take advantage of the Adventure Express six-hour tour where participants have an exclusive guided tour with reserved seating at shows, special animal feeding opportunities, lunch and back-door access to rides.

SeaWorld not only features up-close animal encounters and backstage tours but also hair-raising rides. The newest thrill is Kraken®, a monster of a coaster that is the fastest, tallest, longest and only “floorless” roller coaster in Orlando. Kraken thrusts riders 15 stories in the air, traveling at speeds of 65 mph and turning guests upside down seven times. Thrill seekers also will enjoy Journey to Atlantis, a water-coaster ride through the mysterious lost city, and Wild Arctic, an unforgettable motion-based flight in a “jetcopter” over spectacular, panoramic views of the frozen North, herds of caribou and families of polar bears.

New for 2005 - SeaWorld Orlando will introduce an all-new dolphin show spectacular in Summer 2005, Blue Horizons. This innovative addition will include a revolutionary and creative design that encompasses both sea and sky.
