One of Florida’s oldest attractions, Bok Tower Gardens, has been voted Florida’s best garden. Located close to Orlando in rolling hills of citrus, the National Historic Landmark was dedicated in 1929 as a gift of gratitude from Dutch immigrant Edward Bok, a humanitarian, Pulitzer Prize-winning author and world peace advocate.

Today it has more than 700 acres of citrus groves, woodland gardens and conservation lands where visitors can explore breathtaking sights around every corner of the meandering garden paths.

Stop and smell the citrus of Central Florida. The land of sunshine, golf, and a little theme park you may have heard of. Amidst it all, just down the road from the Magic Kingdom Park, awaits a sunny respite from the fast pace of everyday (and vacation day) life––Showcase of Citrus, a fruit lover’s paradise.

Stroll through acres and acres of groves; check out the 50+ varieties of citrus, ripe for the picking; spread out your blanket and enjoy a picnic or if you are looking for something a little more adventurous try the Monster Truck Eco-Tour.

Climb aboard the monster truck, equipped with air ride suspension; and travel through beautiful citrus groves, upland Palmetto, Oak and Pine Scrub habitat, cattle pastures and wooded swamps––the head waters to the Everglades Watershed.

Bring a camera or two; you might catch a glimpse of some wildlife, like a real Florida gator, along the way. Rides are scheduled by appointment only!
