The Summer Sizzles at SeaWorld

Hot nights, cool shows and the return of some family favorites highlight the summer at SeaWorld

SeaWorld AfterDark: Orlando’s Best Reason to Stay Up Late
This summer, through September 1, SeaWorld is giving guests great reasons to stay up late
and experience the park in a whole new way. Evenings will rock as SeaWorld AfterDark debuts and immerses guests in a rock ‘n’ roll extravaganza.

• Returning for another year of extraordinary entertainment is Shamu Rocks, a spectacular killer whale show driven by a beat that’s larger than life and features stunning visual effects. Shamu Rocks has received rave guest reviews, and this year’s rendition will be no exception.

• Making its inaugural debut at Bayside Stadium is an all-new, nighttime actionpacked ski show that jams on the lake and in the sky. Bayside Ski Jam merges the art of water sport with fun, funky music to provide plenty of fast-paced action. This new show will feature expert skiers using the water as their stage to entertain guests. Stunt kites towed by fast-moving Yamaha Wave Runners perform incredible maneuvers.

• SeaWorld AfterDark infuses the park with a rock ‘n’ roll atmosphere, from DJs mixing music in several park locations to the fireworks, flames and fountains of Mistify, the park’s biggest finale ever.

Sesame Street Returns to SeaWorld
Through September 1, the beloved Sesame Street characters return to SeaWorld this spring and summer, delighting families with character meet-and-greets, a Breakfast with Elmo and Friends and an all-new “Elmo and Abby’s Treasure Hunt” musical production.

Throughout the day, kids and parents will also enjoy special character connection opportunities to meet their favorite Sesame Street friends for hugs and photographs.

Guests may even start their day with a fun- filled character breakfast sure to entertain kids and parents alike. Breakfast with Elmo and Friends is offered daily at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM. The breakfast features a delicious buffet served-up with the hottest characters in town including Elmo, Big Bird, Grover, Zoe, Ernie and Cookie Monster. Prices are $16.95 plus tax for adults and $14.95 for children (ages 3-9). Children under 3 are free. Reservations are required.

Sesame Street’s newest neighbor, Abby Cadabby, is the star of this fun musical show featuring Elmo, Cookie Monster, Rosita and Grover. Beginning May 24 and running through September 1, Abby and her Sesame pals will embark on a treasure hunt adventure as they search for clues to open a talking treasure trunk. Along the way, they’ll encounter a singing tree, a rhyming rock, a
shouting toucan and more. As they find the clues to unlock the trunk, they explore their treasures and open their minds to a world of imagination.

Fall Fun
While the summer fun is hotter than ever, fall is just around the corner. Orlando’s premier family-friendly Halloween event returns this October during “SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular.” Halloween meets the sea as an underwater “fantasea” comes alive as youngsters trick-or-treat among friendly sea witches, octopuses, mermaids, pumpkin fish and more. Children can dress-up in their favorite costume and play with sea fairies.
